Change can destroy the existing and leave us with painful scars, but it can also plant the seeds of new possibilities. Thanks to COVID-19, SeoulShare would not exist without you. The pandemic shook the globe, and countless people had to reshape the foundations of their lives. The founder of SeoulShare Community was no exception. He had to leave China, where he had spent lots of time and efforts in building a new home over the past 8 years, and had to return to Seoul.

He was lost. He had no job. All he could do every day was walk around his town for a few hours. He had no friends, so he started a small walking group to walk with others.

The small seed thus planted, nourished by the uncertainty of life, grew into SeoulShare, one of the most active international communities in Seoul, connecting people from around the world.

At the heart of connecting people is Seoul. In this online space, we create stories of this city and how it connects us. The connections have already started since SeoulShare was born, but only in Seoul. We hope it will expand around the globe through our online space, myseoulshare.
